With all of Carter Cave’s offerings, it does attract large crowds. I’ve even seen people there from other countries. If you are like me, and are looking for a trail that takes you away from the crowd, the 4C’s Carter Caves Cross Country Trail is for you. The trail being 8.5 mi. it’s just long enough to take you away from all the goings on. You start and end the trail at the visitors center.
